DIY Aftershave Oil

DIY Aftershave Oil Recipe

I think that this recipe is the perfect DIY Christmas gift for the men in your life. Shaving can damage healthy skin. It can cause rashes, nicks, ingrown hairs, dryness, etc. I wanted to create an alcohol-free aftershave using natural ingredients and essential oils for my husband.

I absolutely love how there are so many different combinations you could make! You can use this recipe, or completely switch out the carrier oils and the scents and create the perfect blend!

Here’s the forest-smelling recipe I recently made for him, and we love it!!

What you’ll need:
A 2oz glass spray bottle
About 1 tablespoon of vegetable glycerin
Fill the rest with witch hazel
(Optional) Distilled water to thin
8 drops of Cedarwood essential oil
5 drops of Vetiver essential oil
4 drops of Bergamot essential oil

How to use:
Shake well to mix in the essential oils with your carrier oil
Spray into your hand, rub your hands together, then gently pat on oils on your face
Enjoy the soothing and health-promoting qualities of the different essential oils
