DIY Beard Oil

DIY Beard Oil

I made some beard oil for my husband one night immediately after he complained about his beard starting to feel itchy/uncomfortable.

I decided to create a little sample bottle to see how he likes it. In a 10ml bottle, I put 3 drops of cedarwood, 4 drops of eucalyptus radiata, topped with sweet almond oil for the carrier. I shook it and he put a couple of dabs on his beard. He started feeling relief within 2 minutes, and the blend smelt so good!

Right when he was done with his sample bottle, I upgraded his bottle to a really pretty amber one and new oils that smell oh-so-good.

I absolutely love how there are so many different combinations you could make! You can switch out the carrier oils and the scents and create the perfect blend!

Here’s the recipe I currently use for him, and we love it!!

What you’ll need:
A 4oz glass bottle
Fill about 1/2 with jojoba oil
Fill about 1/2 with sweet almond oil
Add in some vitamin e oil
2 drops of Lavender essential oil
5 drops of Frankincense essential oil
3 drops of Eucalyptus essential oil
4 drops of Orange essential oil

How to use:
Shake well to mix in the essential oils with your carrier oil
Dab some oil on your hand and rub into beard
The best time to use your beard oil is right after a shower when you’ve washed your face and your beard
